- The campsite is car-free. Transport carts are available for free use to transport luggage between the parking lot and the campsite
- To combat light pollution and unnecessary energy consumption, power sources and artificial lighting are reduced to the minimum necessary. This results in a clear starry sky
- The nighttime quiet period from 10pm to 7am ensures the best possible rest for our guests as well as for the surrounding neighborhood, and the flora and fauna
- Due to unnecessary water consumption, we consciously decided to forego the installation of a pool and recommend the fantastic swimming facilities only 10 km away in Crivadia.
- The hot water is produced 100% with the help of solar energy. The sink area, indoor and outdoor showers are supplied with hot water.
- The lush herb and vegetable garden supports the separation of plots and an intact ecosystem, whose participation and products are free of charge for our guests.
- Washing water permeates as environmentally clean wastewater into the ground and back into its natural cycle. The necessary biological dish soap is available for free.
- To curb motorized traffic on short distances, free bikes with baskets are available for rent for smaller purchases, errands, or local tours.
- The drinking water comes from the camp's own well. The rainwater is recycled for the irrigation of the ornamental and vegetable garden.
- For the purpose of reducing unnecessary transportation and supporting the local market, a store is intentionally avoided and only purchasable goods are provided that are not available in the immediate vicinity.
- The equipment in the lounging areas is mainly made up of upcycled and recycled decorative and functional items. These create a cozy and authentic vintage look.
- Reducing and properly recycling waste is one of our main concerns! We operate our own compost and are excessively committed to correctly separating non-compostable waste
- As meaningful waste separation only works with the involvement of guests, clearly color-coded containers for compost, paper, glass, residual waste, plastic, and metal are located throughout the area
- Besides maps, cookbooks, art, and travel books, our guests have access to informative materials on sustainable living that can be borrowed free of charge.
- To avoid unnecessary cable clutter, there is a large charging area for mobile devices with plenty of outlets located in the covered picnic area.
- To protect brought food, the storage of perishable goods in refrigerators is free of charge. Furthermore, a closed, dark storage option is provided for non-perishable goods.
- We trust our guests and provide drinks, snacks, and food on a self-service payment basis in the self-service area of the picnic area.
- The food available in the self-service area is made by hand and homemade using mostly seasonal, regional and organic ingredients.
- The location of the fire pit and grill area has been chosen in a way that ensures fire safety and controlled smoke emissions within a secured environment.
- Perennials, plants, and potted trees thrive at the campsite. They serve for aesthetics, air quality, shade, and are also frequently used for urban greenery.
